Eighth is IDW’s exceptional Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #54-65. It began with taking over the Foot Clan and ended with a brilliant Christmas party. It is the perfect example of how to revive an old franchise and is one of the most consistently great franchise comics every month. Written by Tom Waltz, Bobby Curnow, and Kevin Eastman, with art by Mateus Santolouco, Dave Wachter, and others. Even its spin off, TMNT Universe, has proven to be virtually as good.
