The Details!

Collector Corps “Spider-Man: Homecoming” Patch and Pin

The Vulture patch is one of the best patches I’ve seen from Funko. At first, it almost looks like an aviator patch a pilot would wear. The unique shape with the wings “breaking out” of the overall shield is definitely striking. Let’s also not overlook the detailing and colors—which are impressive.

The Spider-Man pin is very minimalist. The color scheme makes it look like the Miles Morales Spider-Man, but it’s actually the hologram logo from his hi-tech wristband. It’s a good contrast to the highly detailed Vulture patch.

Collector Corps “Spider-Man: Homecoming” Packing Slip

The packing slip pulls double-duty as a fun walkthrough of how this box was created (design and inspiration of the various items), and as a promotion for the next Collector Corps box—which will be the first appearance of the Avengers! Can’t wait for that one!

Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man #001 is given the Funko treatment with a Pop!-inspired design of Spider-Man going up against a Pop!-inspired design of the Vulture.

Funko gives us a very unique t-shirt this month. Adhering to the more youthful Spider-Man theme, we have a t-shirt with a logo from Peter’s high school—Midtown School of Science & Technology. The established date of 1962 is an Easter egg to Spider-Man’s first appearance: Amazing Fantasy #15 (August 1962).

Collector Corps “Spider-Man: Homecoming” Mystery Minis “Spider-Man (Homemade Suit)”

The first of our Mystery Minis is Spider-Man. Or maybe I should say, “Not-so-Mystery Minis,” since we know from the pictures on the box. Regardless, these are great figures. The head is attached via a spring, so they act kind of like tiny bobbleheads. Spider-Man is shown with his proto-suit, and the colors are bright and vibrant.

Collector Corps “Spider-Man: Homecoming” Mystery Minis “Shocker”

The second Mystery Mini is Shocker. I was actually quite impressed with this figure. Notice the hand with the vibro-smasher gauntlet. The pictures don’t really do it justice, but the overall figure is very detailed. Again, aligning with the Mystery Mini’s theme of being more whimsical, the colors are bright and really make the figure stand out.

Collector Corps “Spider-Man: Homecoming” Pop! Figure

Finally, we have the famous Pop! figure. This is probably one of Funko’s most eye-catching figures to-date. Why? The figure captures the new Spider-Man perfectly. It also has the figure sporting the much talked about web-wings. The web-wings on the Pop! figure are made with a translucent material which really brings this figure to life. Everything about this Pop! is perfect—from its pose to the proportions and colors. Kudos to Funko!
