3. Roy and Thea (Arrow)

When Roy Harper stole Thea Queen’s purse back in Arrow‘s first season, he had no idea that the pair’s lives would be forever connected in a way that would ultimately propel him to greatness. But that’s exactly what happened after the struggling boy from the Glades crossed paths with the celebrity daughter of one of Starling City’s most famous families.

On the surface, it may have appeared that these two had nothing in common, but Roy soon saw that Thea was dealing with her own issues and realized that they weren’t all that different. So, it didn’t take them long to fall for each other and, as they did so, they made every single one of us fall for them too.

While they weren’t always together throughout Roy’s initial full-time run on the show, they always championed each other in every aspect of their lives. Thea was there to support and ultimately encourage Roy’s vigilante exploits with The Arrow and she remained by his side during his Mirakuru-induced rage, finally proving herself to him and reinforcing the fact that she would never abandon him.

Similarly, it was no surprise that Roy was brought back for Thea’s departure from Arrow. The pair’s relationship has played such a major role in the show that they just don’t function without each other. So, we’d like to think that, this time, they finally got their Happily Ever After… well, at least a few nice years before Roy ends up on Lian Yu in 2038.
