Joe Manganiello as Sabretooth

Once Kevin Feige gets his hands on the X-Men, you can bet Sabretooth will make his MCU debut. While he’s primarily a Wolverine villain, he can work as secondary big bad. Sticking with the Mutant Massacre, Sabretooth is one of Sinister’s followers.

Plus, there’s a time in history where he’s part of the special ops group with Wolverine and Omega Red, which works well as a series. The man to play the role, of course, is Joe Manganiello.

Here’s the thing, there’s no way Warner Bros and Walter Hamada should allow Manganiello to not play Deathstroke. With that said, playing two comic book characters isn’t a bad idea.

Manganiello has everything needed to play Sabretooth, including the rugged looks, massive build, and necessary charisma to warrant intrigue.  The last time we saw Sabretooth was in X-Men Origins: Wolverine played by Liev Schreiber.

We aren’t looking for a Fox Victor Creed repeat. No, this version should be the pure animalistic murdering psychopath, Sabretooth, with full makeup and a look that’s ripped straight from the comics.

"“Victor Creed is the feral mutant called Sabretooth. He was a member/subject of the Weapon X Project and is the arch-enemy of Wolverine… Unlike Wolverine, Sabretooth embraces his primal instincts, leaving death in his wake.”"

The MCU could opt to invoke the Scarlet Witch that made Sabretooth a good guy. Then Manganiello can play the more heroic version of the hero as well. In fact, that version would work well in the inevitable “X-Men v Avengers” arc we’ll likely see in the MCU.  Until then, he would make for an excellent one-off big bad.
