The Boys: 5 characters we should see in future seasons
By Mark Lynch
Malchemical
There are a few people in The Boys that are actually awful, and Malchemical is one of the three worst. He’s the type of guy who would see someone on fire and just walk across the street so that he could point and laugh at them.
Despite being a well-known jerk, he was placed on the happiest super team in the world. That’s right, a team of superheroes who actually tried to help people. While he was there, he did nothing but be an utterly disrespectful being, and even went as far as to try and sexually assault someone. Thankfully, Hughie was there to step in and save the day. Unfortunately, he got a beating by Malchemical for his troubles – one so bad Hughie ended up in the hospital.
In a way, Malchemical is everything that is wrong with super-powered beings. At least Homelander will get over himself and realize that he has an image to protect, but Malchemical? Well, he just doesn’t care, and he’s so powerful that there just aren’t that many people capable of stopping him – and he knows it.
Of course, Butcher studies supes and that made him smart enough to beat him. Otherwise, Malchemical would have killed Hughie and then had his way with the innocent supes who wanted nothing more than to save people.
He would undoubtedly make a formidable addition to the show.
These are only five. There are other teams and super-powered people that could be used. Some of them may spoil the series while others are too good to mention. The question is, will any of them show up next season? If they do debut, you can always come back here and get the lowdown on who they are.
