13. Supernatural’s Winchester Brothers vs. Constantine
You’d figure that someone like Constantine and the Winchesters would be on the same side. They both hunt and kill supernatural beings and try to protect people. The difference is Constantine is a jerk.
He doesn’t do things out of the kindness of his heart. He does them to get something out of it. It could before a payment or for dozens of other reasons. Maybe for a favor to be named later. Whatever you call him, John Constantine is damn good at what he does. It’s why demons and the like hate and fear him.
Sam and Dean hunt because they know it helps people. They may not love it, but they’re aware of what happens if they don’t.
Constantine hits their radar when he kills someone to cast a spell or sacrifices a life because he decided to take the easy way out. Constantine poses a big-time threat to the Winchesters. He may be more powerful than Rowena. Actually, he and Rowena would end up being intimate.
That relationship ends when one of the two betrays the other. Even if it’s Rowena, the Winchesters have her back. This won’t end with Constantine getting killed. He’d end up faking his death to continue his business. They’d fight and team-up multiple times.
