Is Fantastic Four: World’s Greatest Heroes on Disney Plus?
The Fantastic Four have been a powerhouse for Marvel since their inception in November 1961, making their triumphant debut in The Fantastic Four #1 created by none other than the dynamic duo of comics Stan Lee and Jack Kirby. Many fans of the stellar foursome of heroes enjoy the films as well as the 1994 animated series, but it’s hard to argue the fact that nothing else compares to the 2006 legacy cartoon Fantastic Four: World’s Greatest Heroes.
The series first debuted on the Cartoon Network as part of Toonami, and kids were hooked. Fantastic Four: World’s Greatest Heroes takes place in the universe designated Earth-135263 with the Marvel Comics universe and follows the titular squad of heroes as they fight against evil, both on earth and from all over the cosmos.
The show does take some inspiration from the source material, but for the most part, the narrative features original stories with appearances from some fan-favorites including Ronan the Accuser, Mole Man, Annihilus, Namor, and more, making it a very high priority Watchlist-wise for anyone considering themselves fans of the franchise.
There was a lot of speculation that Reed Richards would be introduced in WandaVision, solidifying the arrival of the team in the MCU. That didn’t happen, and while fans wait for them to make their debut, they can enjoy all the installments of Fantastic Four: World’s Greatest Heroes on Disney Plus.
