Spider-Man has been one of Marvel’s biggest superheroes for some time, and before he was tearing up the big screen in blockbuster films like Avengers: Endgame and Spider-Man: Far from Home, he was saving the day on the small screen in an animated series developed by Stan Lee himself.
Andrew Garfield, Tobey Maguire, and Tom Holland have done a magnificent job bringing the wall-crawler to life, but there is no substitute for classic web-head action like fans got in the beloved 1981 TV series. The show ran from 1981 to 1982, releasing 26 entries of animated action following the titular character as his alter ego, student Peter Parker trying to balance his time as a crime fighter with his responsibilities like being a photographer for the Daily Bugle or taking care of his Aunt.
