The Falcon and The Winter Soldier: 5 best moments from “One World, One People”

4. Sharon Carter is the Power Broker
The reveal that Sharon Carter was actually the Power Broker all along was handled very well. While the twist may have been obvious to some due to her previous appearances throughout the series and her strikingly different characterization (not-to-mention some closed captions from the fifth episode that alluded to said twist), it was still a great twist that promises to change the game for the MCU moving forward.
Carter reveals herself as she confronts Karli for stealing the Super Soldier Serum and betraying her, while also revealing that she had hired Batroc to infiltrate the Flag Smashers and work as a double agent. This sequence was nerve-wracking, as Batroc attempted to blackmail Sharon, resulting in the former Agent 13 gunning him down fast.
Sharon showed no mercy when taking down Batroc, with this scene – and the post-credits scene – showcasing that the character has taken a rather interesting turn in the MCU as a villain. While there are plenty of theories surrounding Sharon’s heel turn (with a popular one indicating that she is a Skrull), it is entirely possible that we will see Sharon going up against the new Captain America and the Winter Soldier soon enough.
