2. US Agent is here!

Ever since Wyatt Russell was announced to be portraying John Walker in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier – a character who would go on to become the successor to Steve Rogers’ Captain America – it was evident that the series would make those first steps towards introducing the infamous US Agent into the MCU.

As it turns out, we do indeed get our first glimpse of Walker in the US Agent outfit in the fianle of the Disney Plus series as it is ultimately provided to him by Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Madame Hydra). The fact that this mantle and costume are both given to him in the finale suggests that we’ll be seeing the character again at some point as it potentially sets up a couple of storylines, with U.S. Agent potentially following his comic book roots by joining either the West Coast Avengers or the Thunderbolts (with the latter being a very popular theory).

No matter what happens to the character in the future, the introduction of the US Agent is sure to open up many avenues for John F. Walker to make his Marvel Cinematic Universe return, with the costume reveal undoubtedly one of the most exciting moments for fans during the episode.
