3. The Shapesmith

You’ve actually met the hero that will eventually become the Shapesmith. He was the alien that left Mars and replaced one of the astronauts.

After he comes to Earth in the comic book, he doesn’t know what his next move is. All he knows is that it had to be better than being on Mars. He sees that one of the former Guardians of the Globe – one that Omni-Man killed – was a Martian. That’s when he decides to be a hero.

Unlike his fellow Martian, the Shapesmith is annoying and not very good at his job. He’s essentially the Jar Jar Binks of the Invincible series. This writer doubts anyone will like him.

2. Angstrom Levy

You’re going to meet a lot of Invincible’s enemies throughout the show’s run. Every single one of them is dangerous. Out of all of them, however, Angstrom Levy is the most devious.

The Viltrumites hurt and kill people as soon as possible but Angstrom Levy bides his time and plans. When he strikes, it’s only because he’s ready.

Angstrom has grabbed different Invincibles from other worlds to ruin Mark’s name. One time he beat Mark’s mother, threatened to kill her and his little brother, and sent him to different realities to have him weakened. When you discover why he hates Mark you’ll find out that it obviously isn’t justified. This won’t shock you, but it involves the Mauler Twins.
