2. Comedy aspects
As mentioned previously, the comedic aspects of Mobius and Loki’s conversations were one of the very best parts of the episode. From the get-go, this opening episode established that the series is going to be another hilarious entry in the MCU saga.
The episode mainly focuses on the overwhelming power of the TVA and how Loki is essentially a fish out of water. This uneasiness and quirkiness shown from him as a result (along with the comedic timing of Tom Hiddleston), with the character often feeling powerless, made for some hilarious moments that had fans holding their sides.
Along with Marvel having fun with the time-travelling gadgets for some funny gags and the absurdness of the Infinity Stones having no power and being used as paper weights, seeing workers of the TVA having absolutely no social aspects and their own weird society also made for some really entertaining moments.
Comedy, much like in other MCU releases, is sure to play a major role in the rest of the series. With great comedic actors on board such as Tom Hiddleston and Owen Wilson, Marvel are sure to take full advantage of that, ensuring that fans will be laughing their way through a very entertaining series.
