Marvel’s What If…?: 10 best moments from season 1

7. Zombie Wanda Maximoff
Most of the Avengers were zombies. The ones remaining were searching for a cure that likely wasn’t available. Out of nowhere, they were given hope. A beacon pinged to a place that possibly had more life. It ended up being a trap created by Vision to feed Wanda. A reveal that shocked a lot of people.
Most of the zombies of this universe maintained their fighting skills and knowledge of their powers, including Wanda. She’s one of the last people you’d want to encounter. She had the power to defeat Thanos. Without her human restraint, there was nothing holding her back. As we saw in this episode, she was still not to be messed with.
6. What If…? T’Challa meets Korath
The reveal that T’Challa was Star-Lord was given away before his episode aired. The good thing is we didn’t know what kind of person he was. Here, we found out that he’s the most important person in the galaxy. Even the people who were supposed to capture Star-Lord admired him. That’s where Korath comes in.
Korath acted like a fanboy around T’Challa. His admiration was something that only celebrities and kings receive. All things considered, it made sense. T’Challa is responsible for making the universe a better place. Nevertheless, Korath’s reaction to meeting his hero must have made everyone smile. Especially as he kept calling T’Challa his best friend.
