Superman: 13 Marvel Comics characters who can beat the Injustice Man of Steel
By Mark Lynch
10. The Exiles
In this writer’s opinion, the Exiles are the most underrated team in Marvel Comics history. The things they’ve accomplished have been amazing. It isn’t just their feats that are impressive. They were thrown together and charged with saving the multiverse without meeting each other. No time to prepare or get to know each other. They were given missions and forced to succeed. If they didn’t, the multiverse may have imploded. That is real pressure, and they succeeded.
On a couple of occasions, they had to fight Hyperion. This version of the hero was evil, almost as strong as Superman (with similar abilities), and more ruthless. He was so powerful that the leaders of his world destroyed the planet rather than give in to his demands. While his Earth’s heroes couldn’t beat him, the Exiles did it twice. This leaves this writer to believe they have a chance to beat Kal-El while others may not.

9. Juggernaut
This was someone that no one would expect to be on this list, especially since Superman beat him in the 1990s DC versus Marvel comic book crossover. However, Juggernaut has a chance. He’s gone toe-to-toe with the Hulk and held his own. Plus, he isn’t just strong. Juggernaut’s powers are magic based. If he can get Supes on the ropes and keep going,it could tip the balance against Kal-El more times than you’d think. Because, once the Juggernaut is in motion, nothing can stop him.
