6. The Fantastic Four

Marvel’s First Family go out of their way to be as merciful as possible. They feel that killing is never an option. Even when the beings they’re fighting are trying to hurt or kill them.  Individually, they don’t stand a chance against Superman. It’s a good thing that they don’t fight alone.

The Fantastic Four don’t arrive with the same kind of numbers as the Avengers or the X-Men. They don’t need to. They have the perfect balance of strength, intelligence, wit, and power. While they’re fighting, Reed Richards would eventually find something to depower Superman. It wouldn’t be shocking if he had something similar to Kryptonite in his lab. And, if Supes hits Johnny too hard, Sue would grab his heart in his chest.

5. Black Panther

In terms of planning and fighting prowess, there isn’t much of a difference between T’Challa and Bruce Wayne. The biggest contrast comes from the lack of a need for a secret Identity, the willingness to kill, and superhuman abilities. All of that gives T’Challa a major advantage Batman didn’t have over his Superman.

If Kal-El tried to take over the world, it wouldn’t take T’Challa five years to beat him. This Man of Steel isn’t smart enough to know that Wakandan technology would break and kill him. T’Challa would create something better, stronger, and longer lasting than Lex Luthor’s pills. Once he does that, he could give it to the Dora Milaje. So, if and when the rest of the Regime stepped in, they’d be easily dealt with. Or, they’d all just jump on him at once.
