Mother’s Milk The Boys comics differences

Actor: Laz Alonso

Mother’s Milk was close to the comic book. He had the OCD and need for cleanliness that his counterpart had. They also had the same tragic story of their father trying to sue Vought International.

Unlike the comics, M.M. had a great relationship with his family. They were his everything and he was theirs. The comic book’s daughter didn’t respect him at all. There was a lot that went into it, but she hated him. M.M. tried to atone for things he couldn’t control, but it didn’t matter. She hated him for the Compound V that he passed on to her. Making her an adult years before it should’ve happened.

Queen Maeve The Boys comics differences

Actor: Dominique McElligott

Queen Maeve went back and forth between her lackadaisical attitude towards her life and helping Starlight. Considering Homelander’s constant intimidation, it made sense. It left Maeve afraid for her girlfriend. She felt like Homelander would kill them both if he found out. However, when it was time to step up, Maeve did in a big way. Similar to her story in the comics.

Maeve kept to herself for most of the comics. Butcher had dirt on her and she had a reason to hate Homelander. This forces her to keep hidden cameras in The Seven’s base. It also explained why she hated life and stayed in a constant drunk state. In the end, Maeve sacrificed her life to protect Starlight. Something that could happen in the Amazon Prime series.
