3. Is Taweret more powerful than Khonshu?

When Layla said “yes” to Taweret, she gained powers and a suit. Layla, being the versed fighter that she is, adjusted to her new armor, powers, and weapons quickly. Taweret’s suit seemed more durable and dangerous than Moon Knight’s. Was this because of Layla’s skills or because Taweret is stronger than Khonshu?

Taweret was calm and happy, but, don’t forget, she’s a god. Like other deities, Taweret’s avatar is given immense power. Was Layla stronger, did she just make it look easier, or did she have better control of her new abilities than Marc and Steven?

2. Layla “Avatar of Taweret” in Marvel comics

Laya El-Faouly was created to replace Marc Spector’s partner and sometimes girlfriend Marlene Alraune. A good pick since Moon Knight made it a point to represent the country of Egypt properly. Casting an Egyptian woman to be an Egyptian hero will go a long way to showing that Marvel pays attention to people being represented properly. It’s why a point was made for a girl to ask Layla if she’s Egyptian and responds, “yes'” in Arabic. That may have been the most beautiful moment of the series.

It’s likely that this episode will make Layla even more popular than she already was. Don’t be surprised when she makes her Marvel Comics debut within the next few years.
