Jean Grey is not easily defeated. You may only need one hand to count how many times she’s lost a fight. Her omega level abilities are what usually does it. First, her telekinesis is nearly unmatched. She’s done things that seem impossible and makes it look easy. Then there’s her telepathy. It’s so strong that people forget that it’s on the same level.

Jean Grey would win this battle easily and without lifting a finger. All she needs is her telepathy.

Martian Manhunter may have struggled to control Black Adam, but he’s not Jean Grey. Her control over a person’s mind is vastly more powerful than his. She doesn’t have to control Adam. She could reach deep and hurt him with past memories. Make him feel weak, inferior, and like he’s lost the fight before it started. Or, she could find a way to negotiate with him. Jean prefers peace over war, but she will fight.

This writer sees this being a short fight. The best part is Black Adam would end up respecting her. A common thing for people who go up against her. Adam may even try and marry her. This could become a situation very much like Namor and Sue Storm.
