The Story of Marcus and Maria

Marcus and Maria cheated on each other and fought side by side together as teenagers. There was even a time when both were thought to be dead. Somehow, they always ended up back together. It was said best in Deadly Class No. 51. “No matter how much they hurt each other, that love remains.” After fighting off seemingly insurmountable odds, Marcus looked at Maria and says, “I won’t let you down again.” And he didn’t.

It’s a shame that misery kept coming their way. In 2008, Maria ended up getting an autoimmune disease that couldn’t be cured and almost ended up addicted to painkillers. To make things worse, they didn’t have health insurance. Both of them were bringing in money, but times were tough and sometimes it seemed like it wasn’t enough. Despite that, they stayed together and remained strong for each other.

When Marcus sunk deep into depression, Maria found ways to pull him out. If Marcus needed a laugh, hug, or a kiss, Maria provided it. She was also there to kick him in the butt and be blunt with him. And, when Brandy and Shabnam tried to kill them and their kids, they survived together. Not only that, they made certain that Brandy and Shabnam got everything that was coming to them.
