6. Superman

The new that Henry Cavill is out as Superman shocked the world. It wasn’t long ago that he reappeared in the DCEU at the end of Black Adam. The way he was introduced gave fans a certain expectation. This was supposed to lead to a fight between the two gods. Instead, DC Studios have left their audience disappointed. However, as it was mentioned earlier, James Gunn has a plan for Superman. Among those plans for DC is a project where we see a younger Man of Steel. This writer loves this idea. Although, the movie has to be an absolute success.

Because Cavill was so beloved, the next person to play the Man of Steel will be scrutinized. In fact, this writer could guess that other people have already cast judgment on him and he hasn’t even been picked yet. That being said, the right casting and a good performance will change the minds of people. There was a lot of uncertainty about Ben Affleck playing Batman until fans saw him in action. Get a treasured actor to play Clark Kent and everything will be fine.

There was a lot of pressure to play Superman before Cavill was Superman. He’s an iconic character that usually draws a lot of eyes and money to whatever he’s in. If a Superman project doesn’t do well, then everything else after that will be judged harshly. People may lose more faith in the DCEU as well. How can fans trust future movies and shows if they can’t get their “huge priority” right?
