Norman Osborn kills
Marvel comic: Gold Goblin
Norman Osborn had his sins eaten. This left the former Green Goblin with a new lease on life. Instead of wasting this opportunity, Norman took it seriously. He apologized to Peter Parker and gave him a new suit full of fun toys. Norman still wanted to do more so became a hero (the Gold Goblin). It’s a shame Queen Goblin got Norman’s past sins. She couldn’t handle the evil she received and tried to ruin Osborn’s life and then kill him.
During their final fight, Norman kills Queen Goblin to save Spider-Man. After that, Norman was in shock. He said he had to do it, but he didn’t seem to really believe it. This could start Norman Osborn on a path to becoming the Green Goblin again. This writer hopes otherwise. Osborn is a more interesting character than the Green Goblin.
The Punisher goes wild
Marvel comic: Punisher No. 10
One of the many questions people have asked is what would it look like if Frank Castle, a.k.a. The Punisher, had superpowers. Would he actually be able to abolish crime families? Well, Jason Aaron’s Punisher answered that question and it’s a yes.
Frank Castle was massacring the worst criminals and their flunkies. There was nowhere they could hide from a Punisher with god-like abilities. People that were causing pain all over the globe were getting what they may deserve. The problem is that Castle is breaking international laws. Someone was going to take notice.
Punisher No. 10 ends with Castle’s actions having consequences. Wolverine, Black Widow, Doctor Strange, Moon Knight, and Captain America show up to take the Punisher out.
