Batman and Superman together in the same movie? How could we possibly go wrong? I don’t know, but it did! We haven’t officially reached the “good” Superman movies yet, but we’re so close. Batman vs. Superman is Henry Cavill’s second Superman movie, and it’s Ben Affleck’s first official Batman movie.

In Batman vs. Superman, Superman, played by Cavill, is now seen as a controversial figure by the public, and Batman, played by Affleck, sees Superman as a dangerous and uncontrollable force and decides to take matters into his own hands, setting up a confrontation between the two heroes. Meanwhile, Lex Luthor, played by Jesse Eisenberg, has his own plans to destroy Superman and unleashes a powerful Kryptonian creature known as Doomsday. As Batman and Superman face off against each other, they must also come together to stop Lex Luthor and Doomsday from destroying the world.

There are some redeeming qualities of this movie. It’s a big-budget action movie, so some of the effects and visuals are cool. Zack Snyder certainly makes choices and has style, but yeah, this one is pretty rough.

I think, maybe, the best thing that the movie does is introduce Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman.
