8. Rokuro, Wakuraba, and Mukago – Lower 2, 3, and 4

Rokuro, Wakuraba, and Mukago’s immense strength could not save them from the wrath of their creator, Muzan. Summoned back to his lair after Rui’s death, these Lower Rank demons were eliminated, serving as a brutal reminder of Muzan’s unstoppable power.

The power vacuum left by their demise was never refilled, reinforcing the dangerous instability within the Demon Slayer universe.

7. Gyutaro & Daki – Upper 6

This brother-sister demon duo made me feel feelings I didn’t think I’d feel watching Demon Slayer and shared the Upper 6 title. Their combined strength made them a formidable force during the Entertainment District arc. Their defeat required a united front from the main trio, Nezuko, Tengen Uzui, and his three wives, reinforcing just how powerful this demon duo truly was, even if all Gyutaro and Daki did was argue, put each other down, and use each other for power.

I found their whole arc pretty sad, honestly.

6. Gyokko – Upper 5

As Upper Rank 5, Gyokko’s terrifying appearance mirrored his powerful abilities. His love for arts and crafts was incorporated into his fighting style, making his attacks both beautiful and deadly. He pushed Mist Hashira Muichiro to the edge, demonstrating his power and increasing the stakes within the series.

Also… he has a really punchable face.
