4. What happened to Soren?
The Skrulls first appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe back in Captain Marvel. It was there that we got introduced to the Skull general, Talos, his wife, Soren, and their daughter G’iah. While G’iah and Talos are important players in the series, finding themselves on opposite sides of the Skrull’s war for Earth, Soren is noticeably absent.
After Fury arrives back on Earth and reunites with Talos, we learn that one of the reasons why he chose now to return is because Soren recently died while he was off-world. Later in the episode, when Talos crosses paths with G’iah while she’s on a mission for the rebellion, he reveals her mother’s fate to her. When G’iah asks him for specifics of how her mother died, he tells her that she should ask the people she’s working for, implying that the Skrull rebels played a part in her death.
The last time we saw Soren was in Spider-Man: Far From Home when she was masquerading as Maria Hill while her husband was pretending to be Nick Fury. While we expect it to be explained later, possibly even in a flashback that shows what went down, the details of what happened to her are currently a mystery.
