Heartstopper season 2

One of Netflix’s biggest smash hits of 2022 will return for its sophomore outing this summer as Heartstopper season 2 makes its presence felt this August. The first season of the show was one of the most endearing outings you’ll see on television as it focused on unlikely friends Nick Nelson and Charlie Spring who soon find out that their friendship could be something more.

A welcome representation of queer love, Heartstopper celebrates LGBTQ+ youth in a way that is just so heartwarming, and it’s easy to see why the first season turned stars Kit Conner and Joe Locke into global sensations, because their performances were absolutely beautiful.

The series is based on Alice Oseman’s graphic novel series of the same name and its second season will explore more chapters of Nick and Charlie’s love story. It’s also set to be a bit more ambitious than its predecessor as the pair find themselves on a school trip to Paris.

Heartstopper was truly a gem that took the world by surprise and we can’t wait to see how it does it all again in season 2. We’re ready for it this time, but in many ways, we’re not. Is it August 3 yet?
