One character whose fate we firmly believe should remain untouched in the MCU is Zoe Saldana’s Gamora, whose demise at the hands of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War left a mark on the Marvel universe!

Her death served as a pivotal moment in the MCU, sending ripples of emotion throughout the storylines of other characters, most notably her sister Nebula and her love interest, Peter Quill (Star-Lord). To bring back the original version of Gamora would inevitably lessen the emotional weight of her sacrifice and diminish the profound impact it had on the narrative and the relationships she cherished.

Furthermore, Gamora’s story arc found a resolution in Avengers: Endgame, offering a bittersweet sense of closure to her turbulent journey. Though she had an undeniably tragic end, her story was given a sense of finality that allowed fans to bid farewell to this beloved character with both sorrow and appreciation.

As much as we cherish the character of Gamora and the talents of Zoe Saldana in bringing her to life, the value of her impact on the MCU lies in the legacy she left behind, in the hearts of her fellow characters and the audiences alike. Honoring her ultimate sacrifice by allowing her character to rest would, in our view, preserve the integrity of her narrative and the meaningful place she occupies in the MCU’s tapestry of heroes and villains!
