3. Joe Keery
One of the great things about Stranger Things was that they helped introduce many of us to a new batch of talented young actors. And among those actors is Joe Keery, who plays Steve Harrington in the series.
What Keery has done with Steve is exactly what we would love in our next Quicksilver. Not only did he start off as a bit of an unlikeable character, but he evolved (rather quickly) into a hero.
Steve has stepped up time and time again to not only save his friends, but to also help save the world. He is the kind of character who will step into danger without a thought for his own safety if it means protecting the people he cares about.
And this means that Joe Keery already knows how to be not just a hero, but a superhero. He knows how to be a leading man in a scene, as well as someone who offers support without stealing the show. Plus, over the course of his time on Stranger Things, Keery has given us a taste of how he would come across as a reformed bad guy and that’s exactly what we need for the next Quicksilver of the X-Men universe.
Honestly, Joe Keery shines in an ensemble and that means that he would be perfect as a member of a superhero team like the X-Men. (And apropos of nothing, he also has the perfect head of hair for the character based on comic book representation.)
