12. Charlie / Clotho

When Maisie Richardson-Sellers’ time as Amaya came to an end after Legends‘ third season, fans were naturally upset. However, as the Fates would have it (literally), she would return for two more seasons, but as a completely different character.

This character, Charlie, was a shapeshifter who was strikingly different to Sellers’ previous character, but not in the likeness department. Upon adopting Amaya’s look to fool the Legends, her powers are temporarily stripped away and she can no longer shapeshift.

As Charlie’s journey progressed, we learned that she was actually one of the Fates – the one who destroyed the Loom of Fate so that humanity could have its own free will. That meant she was constantly on the run from her sisters, who sought to reunite the pieces and restore what they believed to be order.

Charlie had a lot more backstory than any of us could ever have dreamed when she first appeared on the show, but even then, she was a super likable character. She was loud and loved every minute of it, getting in people’s faces and telling them exactly what she thought. And that also applied to when she cared about you, because Charlie was willing to let you know.

Like we said, she was a very different character to Amaya, but Maisie Richardson-Sellers looked like she had a blast playing her. Oh, how we wish she stuck around for longer.

Speaking of which…
