18. Wally West / Kid Flash

After The Flash bafflingly ran out of storylines for Wally West, the character was moved on over to Legends of Tomorrow season 3. Ironically, it ended up working out very well, both for the show and the for character.

Yes, The Flash‘s loss was Legends‘ gain because Wally instantly came to life on the show, with actor Keiynan Lonsdale looking like he was having the time of his life whenever the young speedster got up to the wacky things that the Legends always get up to.

From drunk karaoke with Rip Hunter to helping the Legends take down an evil demon, Wally fit into Legends‘ bonkers landscape surprisingly well. And the fact that an ensemble show managed to make more room for him to shine than a show like The Flash really does highlight the issues with that show after its first three seasons.

The only thing preventing us from putting Wally up any higher is the fact that he left the show after season 3 and never returned to it (he did make subsequent appearances on The Flash). Wally was full of potential as a character and on Legends, and we had only scratched the surface of what he could have accomplished on it.

We’ll always have season 3!
