17. Matteo Mannheim

When we first met Matteo in Superman and Lois season 3, he was just a nice young man that liked Natalie Irons. However, fans suspected that there might be more to him than the show was telling us, and those suspicions were indeed confirmed when it was revealed that he was actually the son of Bruno and Peia Mannheim.

Matteo is a good-hearted individual who technically broke the law to save his mother. That doesn’t make him a bad person, but it does make us wish the show gave him more to time to sit with the decisions that he made. Since he spent a lot of time off-screen, we never really knew what he was thinking, and as he cares deeply for Natalie, he could have used more screentime.

That said, he has been a great addition to the show – albeit an underdeveloped one.

16. Ally Allston

Ally Allston was the primary villain of Superman and Lois season 2. An adaptation of the DC character Parasite, she held the mystical pendant that was the key to merging her world with the Inverse World, using a doppelganger of herself from that world as her ally.

Ally was a powerful figure who always remained one step ahead of Lois Lane, manipulating Lucy and causing a rift in their family as a result. She then became powerful enough to absorb Superman’s powers, almost killing him in the process.

She was a great villain brought to life incredibly well by Rya Kihlstedt. We just wish she had more screentime to further build Ally as the force to be reckoned with that she was.
