11. It featured the best live-action Flash suit

The Arrowverse produced some legendary looks throughout its decade on the air, but few looked as good as the Scarlet Speedster’s season 6 suit. The truth is that the series had its ups and downs when it came to crafting the perfect Flash suit, with the first four seasons opting for a great leather jacket and pants combo but the fifth season switching to an oversized helmet (without the legendary chinstrap) over a skintight suit with nowhere near enough padding.

The stars aligned when the season 6 suit came along. An upgrade to the previous season’s infamous suit, it featured extra padding, more yellow accents, and a comic-accurate cowl with the return of the chinstrap. It was perfect; so perfect, in fact, that (gold boots aside) Barry never needed another upgrade to the suit for the remainder of the show’s run.

This is The Flash. Not only is it an upgrade over the previous season’s look, it’s far superior to the unnecessarily heavy and complex designs for the character in the DC Extended Universe. Simple and effective wins this race, because, again, this is and always will be the perfect live-action Flash suit.
