The Mandalorian

Now hold your Millennium Falcons; we're not saying The Mandalorian is destined to have its run cut short. The fourth season is already in development, so it will be back. What we are saying is that it might be nearing the end of its run, as an in-development Mandoverse movie is set to wrap up all of the arcs brought up in the show, as well as Ahsoka, and The Book of Boba Fett.

The show returned for its third season in 2023 and to say it was heavily-anticipated would be an understatement. It had been almost three years since season 2's conclusion. However, it never quite managed to live up to the expectations placed upon it, resulting in a somewhat underwhelming season 3 that left fans wondering if it was time to end the show.

With star Pedro Pascal ascending to even greater heights in recent years, he has a lot of projects in development right now, which means it's going to be some time before season 4 premieres. With that, and the upcoming Mandoverse movie to take into consideration, it wouldn't be hugely surprising, if the decision was made to end The Mandalorian after season 4.

The Star Wars TV shows have become so popular over the past three years and that wouldn't have been possible without The Mandalorian but it might be time to bring Mando and Yoda to the big screen.
