Audio Story Podcasts are an absolutely incredible medium to experience unique and wonderful stories based around comic characters you love or entirely new characters you're discovering for the first time. If you love comics you'd be truly missing out if you didn't check out these absolute gems.

4. Batman Unburied

Remember when I said that DC was just as predictable as Marvel when they decided who was gonna be their first character to get a podcast? Yup. But unlike many Batman stories, this is an incredibly unique storyline for the Bat that will leave you guessing.

Featuring an all-star cast of voices including Ashley Burch, Gina Rodriguez, Hasan Minaj, two of the three brothers McElroy, the late-great Lance Reddick, and many more, this story follows Bruce Wayne, played by Winston Duke. That's right, M'Baku himself.

A ritualistic serial killer called The Harvester starts haunting Gotham leaving people baffled, but even more baffling is the fact that there is no Batman coming to their aid. In fact, as far as forensic scientist Bruce Wayne is concerned, there's never been a Batman. And when the Harvester tries and fails to go after Bruce, he becomes obsessed with solving who The Harvester is and why he's doing what he's doing. Despite the advice from his father Thomas Wayne, a person who, for all intents and purposes, should not be in the land of the living. So what's going on?

That's what Barbara Gordon tends to find out. Where is Batman? But she can't do it alone so she enlists Gotham's second greatest detective, The Riddler. Will this unlikely duo be able to figure out what happened to Batman before Bruce Wayne gets too deep into who the Harvester is?
