8 best upcoming superhero video games to look forward to
EA Motive's Iron Man
This one is long overdue. The genius, billionaire, playboy, and philanthropist is finally getting a video game of his own that's not an adaptation of an MCU movie. Better yet, it comes from the hands of EA Motive, the studio behind the critically acclaimed Dead Space remake.
Their upcoming Iron Man title is being developed in Unreal Engine 5 and it is described as a "single-player, third-person, action-adventure game". This is great since it appears we'll have a narrative-driven adventure that won't feature live-service features unlike Marvel's Avengers and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.
Who knows when we'll get a better look at EA Motive's Iron Man, but we can't wait for that to happen.
Skydance New Media's Marvel Game
If you like the Uncharted video game series, chances are you've heard about Amy Henning. But, in case you need a reminder; she's the mastermind who acted as game director and writer on Uncharted 1, 2, and 3.
After leaving Naughty Dog, Amy Hening formed a new video game division in Skydance Media, with her first project being an action-adventure videogame set to feature not only one but four different Marvel heroes including Black Panther and Captain America. If we're being honest, this feels like a match made in heaven. A video game featuring Marvel Heroes being helmed by the director of one of the biggest action franchises ever made? Count. Us. In.
We don't have even an official title yet for Skydance New Media's upcoming Marvel project. However, we do have an epic reveal trailer. And we don't mind watching it over and over again until we learn more about this highly anticipated game.
