Joker

The Joker’s comic book look hasn’t changed much. He still wears a purple jacket and pants with something green to go with it. The Clown Prince of Crime has switched things here and there depending on what the writer needed. Other than that, what he’s worn has been pretty consistent. It’s all about the color scheme. Even when he created his own Batman costume (Batman: Joker War) the colors were still purple and green. The hue may be different, but it’s the same thing. If it isn't broken, don't fix it.

Taskmaster

What Taskmaster wears helps him with his powers. Because of his photographic memories, he needs to wear certain things. If he doesn’t it may throw him off. Taskmaster’s moves may depend on everything the person is wearing. That could explain why he wears the cape. Although, some stories don’t have him wearing it.

Taskamster’s comic book costume isn’t aesthetically pleasing. Meanwhile, the MCU version is fantastic. It's more armor than a cloth costume. Marvel Comics should use that version instead of the current one. Or go back to Udon’s version. That one was the best. The skull mask was cooler, and his Wolverine claws, Captain America Shield, and Spider-Man web shooters were hard-light. That made things easier for him to move around.
