Loki

  • Seasons: 2
  • Created by Michael Waldron
  • Cast: Tom Hiddleston, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Wunmi Mosaku, Eugene Cordero, Tara Strong, Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, Sasha Lane, Jack Veal, DeObia Oparei, Richard E. Grant, Jonathan Majors, Rafael Casal, Kate Dickie, Liz Carr, Neil Ellice, Ke Huy Quan, and Richard Dixon

Loki is definitely one of the best Disney+ and Marvel shows so far. The first season premiered on Disney+ in June 2021, and fans had to wait for more than two years until season 2 premiered in the fall of 2023.

There's no doubt Loki season 2 is one of the best shows of the year so far. It's an easy pick for the best superhero show of the year. It might even be the best superhero show of the year!

In the series, Loki, who was killed in Avengers: Infinity War, creates a new timeline in Avengers: Endgame, and that's where the series begins. The second season has huge ramifications for the larger MCU, so I highly, highly, highly recommend fans of the MCU watch Loki on Disney+ if they haven't already. My favorite part of season 2 is Ke Huy Quan and his character, "O.B."

With the way season 2 ended, it's unclear where Loki's story is going to go from here. It doesn't sounds like a third season is in the cards on Disney+, but it's hard to imagine Marvel walking away from Tom Hiddleston and Loki entirely. We'll just have to wait and see what happens next.

For now, you can watch all 12 episodes of Loki on Disney+ right now. That's right; there are only six episodes in each season. You can easily binge-watch both season over the weekend or a few days.
