  • Avengers: Age of Ultron
  • Captain America: Civil War
  • Avengers: Infinity War

Paul Bettany has appeared in seven Marvel movies, but he's only played Vision in three of those movies. Bettany voices JARVIS in the first three Iron Man movies, along with The Avengers. Then, Bettany's JARVIS obtains a more human-like body in Avengers: Age of Ultron and consciousness with the Mind Stone.

We are lucky enough to see Vision in Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War. Unfortunately, Vision is "killed" by Thanos (Josh Brolin) as the Titan tries to secure all six Infinity Stones for the Infinity Gauntlet. This is obviously devastating for fans, especially those who were big fans of the love story and relationship between Vision and Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen), also known as Scarlet Witch.

Bettany also stars in WandaVision, the hit Disney+ series. I think WandaVision is the best of the Marvel shows so far, although Loki might be in the mix for that title, as well, but Bettany is such an a great performer and brings Vision to life (literally!) in a way that no one else could.

It appears this is the last we've seen as Bettany in the MCU, unfortunately. It'd be great to find a way to bring Vision back into the mix. I mean, in theory, there would be a way to bring the character back, but Tony Stark, who created JARVIS, is also gone.
