Yellowstone

A huge TV franchise is saying goodbye to its flagship series in 2024, and of course, we're talking about Yellowstone. The popular Western drama that started it all premiered in June 2018 on the Paramount Network, introducing the world to the Dutton family, owners of a large ranch in Montana called Yellowstone. The show was created by Taylor Sheridan (Sicario, Hell or High Water) and John Linson (Sons of Anarchy, The Runaways) and has since become a smash hit.

Yellowstone stars Kevin Costner as the patriarch John Dutton as he and his family try to protect their land from various threats, including differences with other ranchers, political pursuits, and reservation conflicts with Native Americans. The first season of Yellowstone no doubt attracted a large audience, and the viewership has only grown over the seasons. Of course, if you know anything about the series, you'll know that multiple spinoffs have already begun airing, with 1883 premiering in 2021 and 1923 coming out in 2022. Another spinoff called 6666 is currently in development, and others titled1944 and 2024 have also been announced.

Needless to say, this is a highly-watched TV series with a large fanbase behind it, all of whom are hungry to see the final episodes of the final season. In case you missed it, Yellowstone season 5 premiered in Nov. 2022, but then went on hiatus in Jan. 2023. Due to the writers' and actors' strikes, the show could not get back to filming as soon as they were scheduled to, and now fans will be waiting until Nov. 2024 to see the second part of the season. The long wait continues!
