Samuel L. Jackson Will Be In Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season Finale

How did we come by this information? The best way possible: from the actor himself.

No, Samuel L. Jackson didn’t grant Bam! Smack! Pow! an interview (someday!), but he did tell Vulture that the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season finale has already been filmed, and he is in it:

"I did! Last week! I just shot the end-of-the-season show."

While rumors are floating around that Marvel may kill off Nick Fury in the comics, Jackson’s version of the super spy is (SPOILERS) still alive after the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier. His organization might not be in the best of shape, but we’ve seen S.H.I.E.L.D. rise from the ashes like a phoenix before, just like its leader.

With the coordination between Marvel’s film and TV efforts at an all-time high, another appearance by Jackson just makes sense. Now if they can just get Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow in there too, all will be right with the world. Kevin Fiege, make the call!

The Season 1 finale of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will air Tuesday, May 13 on ABC.
