Trouble With Circus Folk In Nightcrawler #2

At least that’s what it looks like for Kurt Wagner in the pages of Nightcrawler #2. All we really know for sure is that someone is hunting down people close to the X-Men’s favorite teleporter, and Nightcrawler has to take to the road to find out who it is before his friends and loved ones suffer the same fate that he just escaped. That would be death, in case you didn’t know.

Longtime readers know that Kurt was a circus performer in his younger days, and by the looks of the preview pages below by artist Todd Mauck, there could be some super-powered circus trouble finding him in the present. How does it fit into the larger tale that veteran X-Men scribe Chris Claremont is weaving. Guess you’ll have to pick up Nightcrawler #2 when it hits comics stores and digital on May 14 to know for sure.
