DC Collectibles: New 52 Poison Ivy And Action Figure Checklist

DC Collectibles has been making action figures for the New 52 versions of the company’s heroes and villains for a few years now. What I didn’t realize until a few days ago is how far along the process is, and how many characters are or are about to be immortalized in plastic.

What set me straight was the checklist that DC Collectibles released earlier this week showing every figure produced so far. You’ve got the Justice League, most of the Justice League of America and Justice League Dark, Red Hood and the Outlaws, the Crime Syndicate, a number of characters from Earth 2, members of the Batman family and prominent villains like the Joker, Black Manta and Black Adam. If you’ve never seen the Darkseid figure in person, it’s an incredibly impressive piece of work that towers over the other figures in the line, as he should. He’s not cheap — his list price is $89.99, though you may be able to find him for $69.99 if you shop around online — but when you see how big it is, you’ll realize you’re getting what you pay for with the lord of Apokolips.

You’ll also notice that the last figure on the checklist is brand new: a New 52 Poison Ivy. She’s not due until next summer, but DC Collectibles wanted to let everyone get a look at her now. So go ahead and take a look, and if she’s the only character you don’t already have in hand or pre-ordered, then you’re a richer comics fan than I am.
