This isn’t the first time Thor has had a disagreement with Tony Stark. We all saw that little quarrel they had in woods in The Avengers (2012). But what we see in the Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer seems to be much more severe, and its almost straight out of the comics.
From the Pages of Comics
After the events of Civil War, Thor confronts Tony Stark in New Orleans in Thor #3 (November 2007). Angered at Tony’s arrogance and his creation of a Thor clone, Thor fights Iron Man. With Thor going at full strength, even Tony in his Iron Man Extremis Armor was no match. It ends with Tony in a dilapidated Iron Man suit with Thor holding him up by his neck and warning him to never come uninvited to Asgard.
