Plenty of Marvel Cinematic Universe talent has been featured at Wizard World conventions over the past few years, but none of them have had an appearance by Captain America himself.

That’s going to change early next year. Chris Evans will make his Wizard World on January 9 at Wizard World Comic Con New Orleans, which takes place at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Evans will sign autographs, pose for photo ops and take part in a special Q&A session at the show.

“The addition of Chris Evans brings the already stacked Wizard World Comic Con New Orleans guest list to a new level for our attendees,” Wizard World CEO John Macaluso said in a press release. “Captain America is one of the world’s great franchises, and Chris has been its face for several huge blockbusters. Fans will want to take advantage of this extremely rare opportunity to meet this superstar.”

That guest list includes plenty of other talent from the MCU. Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) is also scheduled for the con on Saturday, January 9, while Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter), Frank Grillo (Brock Rumlow/Crossbones) and directors Joe and Anthony Russo — who directed both Captain America: The Winter Soldier and the upcoming Captain America: Civil War — will be in New Orleans on Saturday and Sunday, January 10.

This is the sixth edition of Wizard World Comic Con New Orleans, and it will boast other top celebrity guests like Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Jenna Coleman of Doctor Who, Steven Yuen and Chandler Riggs from The Walking Dead and Gotham star Ben McKenzie. The event takes place January 8-10, and full event info and ticket links are available on the Wizard World website.
