Valiant Announces New Tabletop Game

Valiant teams with Catalyst Game Labs to release a deck-building card game based on their most popular characters.

Valiant Entertainment announced this week that through a partnership with Catalyst Game Labs, they will be releasing a deck-building card game with over 200 unique playing cards for a strategic tabletop game. Players will use figurines to command characters like Ninjak, Faith, X-O Manowar, Livewire, and Bloodshot.

This game follows the Valiant Universe RPG and will let players move their figures through an interactive grid to collect cards, which they can use to attack opponents. The grid will represent a secret Project Rising Spirit base below Alcatraz, and the characters will be racing to get a hold of the dangerous weapons and other items held inside.

According to the press release, the box will include:

The game will be available in hobby shops this September, but people who order online at this link within a 75-day window will also get a limited-edition Rai figurine, pulling the character from his role in the year 4001 to the present day for the first time. Retail price will be $59.95.
