This week on The Flash, the team goes to Gorilla City to save Harry Wells from Gorilla Grodd.

Last time on The Flash‘s “Untouchable” episode, a meta-human with the power to disintegrate anything on contact went after Joe. And Wally started his training to bring his speed powers to the next level.

A new meta-human was on the loose again. Clive Yorkin burst onto the scene with a few random bodies—okay, I’m using “bodies” pretty liberally here. They soon turned to ash because Yorkin’s touch continued to decompose matter well after the victim was deceased.

It’s not long before Barry and Julian start investigating these random homicides. Barry soon realized that these murders followed a specific pattern—all the victims were part of the Central City Police Department in Flashpoint. And they were all responsible for putting away Yorkin in that timeline.

Meanwhile, Wally was feverishly training to become faster than Barry. One of Wally’s hardest subjects in Barry’s accelerated course (pun intended) was the ability to phase.

As Yorkin went after Iris, Wally took it upon himself to save her. But Wally still wasn’t fast enough—and Yorkin got to Iris, critically injuring her. Thanks to Caitlyn’s freezing powers, Iris was stabilized, giving Team Flash some time to find a cure.

In the final showdown with Yorkin, Barry was able to phase a train, allowing it to pass through debris and saving its occupants. With Barry now drained, it was up to Wally to believe in himself. As Wally ran, Barry channeled his inner Harrison Wells and told him to “run.” Wally phased through Yorkin and, in the process, left some of his blood (as an antidote to stop Yorkin’s abilities) inside the villain.

Wally’s good news didn’t just end there. Jesse Quick soon arrived through a portal. However, it wasn’t a social visit. Her father, Earth-2’s Harry Wells, was captured by Gorilla Grodd and is now being held in Gorilla City. She’s here for Team Flash’s help.

This week, we get another dose of fan-favorite villain Gorilla Grodd. On top of that, we also get a first look at the home of these super-intelligent gorillas. Here’s the official synopsis:

“Attack on Gorilla City”

"BARRY AND TEAM TRAVEL TO GORILLA CITY AND FACE GRODD – When Jesse Quick (guest star Violett Beane) informs the team that her father (Tom Cavanagh) has been abducted, Barry (Grant Gustin), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker), Cisco (Carlos Valdes) and Julian (Tom Felton) voyage to Earth-2 on a rescue mission to save Harry from Gorilla City. As they trek through the forest, Barry and the team are immediately captured and brought to Grodd (voiced by David Sobolov). Grodd tells them he needs their help to stop Solovar (voiced by Keith David), the leader of Gorilla City, as Solovar wants to invade Earth-1. Meanwhile, back on Earth-1, Jesse and Kid Flash (Keiynan Lonsdale) hit the streets to stop a metahuman that can control gravity, with H.R. and Joe (Jesse L. Martin) guiding them from S.T.A.R. Labs."
