15 shows to watch if you love Agatha All Along
Agatha All Along has been a fantastic series, and there are more shows to watch if you love that witchy magic!
The Marvel Television series has become a major hit for Disney Plus. This sequel to WandaVision has Kathryn Hahn reprising her scene-stealing role as witch Agatha Harkness, the secret architect of much of the chaos. After regaining her memory and powers, Agatha goes on a quest for more power with the uneasy aid of other witches and a mysterious Teen.
The show has a wonderful mix of dark humor, action, thrills, drama and some truly shocking twists. It’s one of many TV shows that use witches and magic, most aimed at a YA audience. Others do have the same appeal as Agatha with a darker take on magic yet some truly offbeat storytelling.
Narrowing it down can be hard, but these 15 shows are just for anyone who enjoyed Agatha All Along. They spread a different kind of magical drama and cast a spell on viewers.
Charmed
Let’s start with the obvious pick first. This show, which aired on The WB and wrapped up prior to the network's change into The CW, had a trio of amazing leads. Alyssa Milano, Holly Marie Combs, and the late Shannen Doherty are the Halliwell sisters who discover they are fated to be witches defending the world. A big turn was in Season 4 when Doherty left and was replaced by Rose McGowan.
The show could be wildly offbeat and silly at times yet also had some darker story arcs and explored the consequences of magic. The last season had Kaley Cuoco added to the cast to spark things up. While the later CW revival didn’t match the original, it, too, had some fun touches. Yet the original is the better choice for one of the best witch-themed shows in TV history that can appeal to Agatha fans.
Charmed is streaming on Peacock, Hulu, Prime Video and Pluto TV. Charmed (revival) streaming on Netflix.
