Paladin

A mercenary with something of a heart of gold, Paladin could initially appear to be an adversary until revealing his true motives. Or maybe Coulson straight up has Nick Fury’s blessing to contract for outside help should the need arise. Either way, Paladin’s low level super strength and reflexes would be fine for the show, and his cool stun guns would also be perfect for the relatively bloodless combat scenes.

His outfit says more utilitarian than costume, though maybe purple would be a bit much. He’s the least well known character on our list, but that would only make comic geeks that much more excited to see him make an appearance.
