9. “Iron Man” – Black Sabbath – “Iron Man”

This is a bit of a stretch, not because it’s not an awesome song (it is!), but due to the fact that it’s not technically on the “Iron Man” soundtrack. You can hear it in the closing credits, and it was featured in one of the first trailers as well. It’s also clearly not about Tony Stark if you listen to the lyrics, but the overall feel fits, and nothing needs to be said about the title.

Despite being hailed as one of the greatest metal songs of all time, this classic by Ozzy and company only made it to #56 on the charts. We think that’s okay. Metal should stay metal.
