AC/DC did a whole secondary soundtrack for “Iron Man 2” that was basically a greatest hits compilation, so we had our choice of classics for this spot. “Back in Black” just seemed to stick in the head more as being associated with the “Iron Man” movies, particularly since it also appeared in a pivotal scene in Tony’s origin in the first film, so here it is.

This song has appeared in many other movies, TV shows, commercials and other places since it first hit radio in 1981. Like the previous song on our list, it’s enduring popularity more than makes up for the fact that it only made it to #37 on the Billboard Hot 100.
