Fans of the Arkham franchise were more that a little let down when problems arose and persisted when it came to the latest realize, Batman: Arkham Origins. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has had to release numerous patches to address problems that gamers have been having, but it appears they’re abandoning those stranded gamers looking for updated patches.

According to a statement released by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, the company is refocusing its efforts on a new DLC story content and will no longer be putting out patches for Arkham Origins at this time.

"“The team is currently working hard on the upcoming story DLC and there currently are no plans for releasing another patch to address the issues that have been reported on the forums. If we do move forward with creating a new patch, it will try to address the progression blocking bugs for players, not the minor glitches that do not prevent one from continuing to play. The issues that are not progression blockers will unfortunately no longer be addressed. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused for some of you, and want to thank you for having been patient.”"

The bugs haven’t ruined the game entirely for gamers, but they’ve been annoying enough to prompt some to even threaten boycotting all future Arkham Origins DLC releases.

The new DLC being worked on may not be enough o keep fans happy, as Warner Bros is not only going to abandon gamers dealing with headache-enducing bugs, but are going to more than likely ask those same gamers to invest more money into a broken system.
